Math Team

Looking for mathletes that love competitive math activities and events! Our meetings include math competitions with other schools, fun games, and exciting problem-solving activities.

Hook and Needle Club

Are you interested in making blankets, scarves, hats, sweaters, and Amigurumi dolls? This club is for you!

Ambassadors Club

Eighth Grade Ambassadors is the voice of students and represents Springman throughout the year. We are the the leaders of the building! Our main purpose is to establish good energy at Springman by leading assemblies, hyping up the students, helping with curriculum night and 5th grade transition day, and any other activities around the building.

Chamber Orchestra Musical Ensemble

The Springman Chamber Orchestra is a co-curricular ensemble that enriches the musical journey for orchestra students in grades 6-8. We are proud to offer a meticulously crafted curriculum that challenges, inspires, and promotes diversity. Through carefully selected repertoire, we strive to nurture advanced technique and creativity, while also encouraging leadership and ambassadorship for the overall Springman Orchestra Program.

Club La Comunidad

La Comunidad is an inclusive, after-school club designed to celebrate Latino culture while fostering belonging, leadership, and academic support among middle school students. Although the club centers on Latino identity and heritage, participation is open to all middle school students, regardless of background. This ensures that students from both Latino families and from other cultural backgrounds can connect, learn, and grow together in a supportive, multicultural environment.

Drama Club

Before Ms. Arrigo came to Springman as a school psychologist, she spent about 20 years as a working actor and performing singer/songwriter and musician in Chicago. "I LOVE creating and performing!"

The drama club is for you if you 

* have some interest in performing (acting, storytelling, poetry, stand-up, music, and more)

* want to learn some techniques for monologues or scenes

* want to play theatre games and do some improv

* like to laugh and have fun!

Dungeons & Dragons Club

Looking for a fun way to meet people, be creative, and roll some dice? Our Dungeons & Dragons Club is the perfect place to step into epic quests, create unforgettable characters, and explore new worlds with friends. Beginners and seasoned adventurers are welcome—no experience needed, just imagination! Come for the game, stay for the story.

French Club

Love French culture, language, and food? Come practice speaking, learn fun phrases, and explore music, movies, and traditions from around the Francophone world. All levels welcome—no experience needed!

The Alliance

The Alliance is a student-run club, which is a safe place for students to meet and support each other, talk about issues of acceptance, and have fun together! All allies welcome! An ally is someone who provides support and assistance to another person or group in a struggle, activity, or ongoing effort. We meet the last Tuesday of the month in classroom 2505.
