Springman Athletics Mission Statement:

At Springman Middle School, we believe interscholastic sports provides student-athletes social, emotional and physical well-being. Sports can positively affect multiple aspects of personal development among young people, such as self-esteem, leadership and goal-setting. We take pride in our teamwork, sportsmanship and the spirit of competition. It also provides a direct connection to the mission of Glenview School District 34: Aspire, Explore, Discover, and Connect.

 

FALL SPORTS 

7th & 8th Grade Girls Volleyball: Tryouts begin August 25th

6th-8th Cross Country: 1st practice takes place August 25th

7th & 8th Grade Co-Ed Soccer: Tryouts begin August 25th

Golf and Tennis Intramurals: Begin in September and conclude mid October. Please contact Dave Tosh with any questions.

 

WINTER SPORTS 

Basketball Tryout Packets are available beginning Wednesday, September 24th.  Students cannot tryout without completing and submitting the packet by the coach's designated due date.

7th & 8th Grade Boys Basketball: Tryouts begin Oct. 10th (8th Grade Boys' tryout packets are DUE Tuesday Oct. 7th.  Late forms will NOT be accepted).

7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball: Tryouts begin Oct. 10th/13th

 

SPRING SPORTS 

7th & 8th Grade Boys Volleyball: Tryouts begin January 27th

6th-8th Track & Field: 1st Practice takes place March 30th
