Meet the Principal

Mrs. Russell is a graduate of University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Concordia University-Chicago. She is an avid Green Bay Packers fan, loves to stay active, travel, and enjoys attending live sporting and music events.

Mrs. Russell has been principal of Caruso Middle School in Deerfield for three years. Prior to that, she spent eight years at Highland Middle School in Libertyville District 70, holding leadership roles as dean of students and assistant principal
