Beginnings
Debra Gelfand, mother of six sons, was
an active parent volunteer in Glenview
District 34. She had a strong belief that
parents should be involved in school
activities. Debra provided many gifts and
monetary contributions to the schools
and gave countless hours of her time to
the District. She died on July 4, 1990 at
the age of 37 from cancer. This fund was
established in Debra’s memory to carry
on her belief that it is important to help
families in need.
Help support Glenview’s
needy children.
